Man murdered in Belfast city centre car park, teenager arrested

POLICE in Northern Ireland have arrested a teenager following the murder of a man in Belfast city centre.

The incident happened at the Little Victoria Street car park near Bruce Street.

The PSNI  have confirmed that officers  "have launched a murder investigation after the death of a man following an incident in Downshire Place".

They believe the man was stabbed to death.

Detective Chief Inspector Alan Dickson said: “Police investigating this murder have arrested an 18-year-old male. He is currently in police custody at Musgrave PSNI station.”

There are no further details at this stage.
