Man injured following daylight stabbing
Victim stabbed outside well-known pub this afternoon
A MAN was today stabbed in broad daylight close to a well-known Dublin pub.
Gardai have launched an investigation following the vicious attack on the man, who officers have not yet named.
The victim was walking on the street near the Bottom of the Hill pub in Finglas at around 2pm when two assailants approached him on a motorcycle.
Both attackers were wearing all black clothing and black motorcycle helmets.
The man was stabbed a number of times and suffered serious injuries before the culprits got back on the motorbike and sped off towards the main street of the town.
Gardai said that that condition of the victim was unknown at present and that he was taken to hospital.
