Man in his early 20s in critical condition after Clare road accident

GARDAI in Ennis are investigating a two vehicle serious collision that occurred on the Scarriff to Ennis road, 3 km from Bodyke Village.

The accident happened earlier this evening at around 5.20 p.m. 

A male passenger in his early 20s was removed to University Hospital Limerick and is described as being in a critical condition.

The two drivers were also removed to hospital with minor injuries. 

This stretch of the R352 at Bodyke, is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
