Man dies after road collision on M50
A man has died following a road traffic collision on the M50 this afternoon.
Gardai are investigating the incident which involved a lorry and a pedestrian.
Gardai do not have an age for the deceased yet.
The collision occurred at approximately 2.10pm today.
Nobody else was injured in the incident.
The man's body has been removed to the mortuary at Blanchardstown Hospital.
The M50 southbound was closed at junction 6 for a short time but the third lane has since reopened to traffic.
Gardai report to be finished their examination of the scene and the area is currently being cleaned.
