A man has been arrested in relation to the murder of Noel 'Kingsize' Duggan last month.

'Kingsize' Duggan (57), a well-known friend of Gerry 'The Monk' Hutch, was shot dead in his car outside his house in the Old Mill estate in Ratoath, Co Meath.

The incident took place on March 23.

Today, a man in his mid-forties from Dublin was arrested and is being questioned at Ashbourne Garda station.

It was understood that Mr Duggan's murder was linked to the ongoing feud between the rival Hutch and Kinahan gangs.

The man is currently detained under Section 30 Offences Against The State Act, 1939.
