Mamma Mia stars bring super group's songs to the stage
Supertrooper celebration 'Mamma Mia' returned to the Grand Canal Theatre in Dublin last night.
Since its opening in London's West End in 1999, the stage production that is inspired by the songs of super group ABBA has been seen by more than 45 million people around the world.
Running until October 15, writer Catherine Johnson's tale tells the story of one daughter's quest on the eve of her wedding to discover the true identity of her father by bringing three men from her mother's past back to the Greek island they last visited 20 years ago.
An international tour of the musical is now in its sixth year travelling through cities around the globe.
Charlotte Wakefield and David Roberts play the bride and groom in this version of the musical extravaganza.
