Male pedestrian killed after he is struck by car in early hours of morning

A male pedestrian has died following an early morning collision in Co Antrim.

The 56-year-old was struck by a car around 2.20am on the Belfast Road in Dunadry.

He was about one mile from the Dunadry Hotel, and it's believed he had been walking along the road in direction of Antrim when the collision occurred.

The victim's family have been informed.

The road has reopened.
