Major travel disruption as multiple flights diverted from Dublin Airport over fog
THERE is major travel disruption at Dublin Airport after flights were diverted last night to fog.
Multiple flights were diverted from the airport after 10pm last night due to fog.
Flights were being diverted to both Shannon and Belfast.
A passenger on an Aer Lingus from Berlin told Independent.ie: "Our flight was diverted from Dublin to Belfast, we were told it was due to weather conditions. We landed around midnight and were waiting almost five hours for a coach to arrive and pick us up to bring us to Dublin.
"After five hours there was still no sign so some of us decided to group together to get a taxi from Belfast back to Dublin."
