Gardai said the cannabis, which included both resin and herb, has an estimated street value of €1.7m.
A 33-year-old man was arrested and taken to Store Street Garda Station for questioning under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act.
The truck was pulled over on the motorway in Kildare yesterday.
The arrested man is Lithuanian.
