A collision on the M50 is causing delays during this morning's rush hour.

The incident happened southbound between Lucan and the Red Cow and is causing long delays.

Elsewhere in the capital, the traffic lights were out on Pembroke Road earlier and this is continuing to cause traffic problems, while there are delays from Botanic Road through to Doyles Corner on the Phibsborough Road.

An incident on the N7 Naas Road inbound that was blocking a lane at J4 Rathcoole was moved to the hard shoulder shortly after 8am.

Emergency services are at the scene.

Outside of Dublin, traffic is mostly moving well, however there will be delays in Waterford due to the Winterval festival.
