M50 closed for 20 minutes after minor collision
THE country’s busiest motorway was closed for 20 minutes this morning following a minor collision.
A motorcyclist collided with a heavy goods vehicles shortly after 10am, resulting in the south-bound lanes between Finglas and Blanchardstown being closed.
The motorcyclist is understood to have suffered minor injuries. Two lanes south-bound were opened at 10.40am.
“The collision was between a motorcycle and another vehicle but all parties are ok,” the Garda Press Office said.
Tailbacks were cleared shortly after the motorway re-opened.
