Lowry backs 'brash' Shatter
EMBATTLED Justice Minister Alan Shatter has received support from a surprising quarter, with controversial TD Michael Lowry weighing in behind the minister but calling him "irritatingly dismissive and brash" at the same time.
"The public are sick and tired of this ongoing farce and the media circus surrounding this issue," Mr Lowry said.
"He was never the most popular member of the house," Mr Lowry said.
"He can be irritatingly dismissive and brash. (But) the whole incident has been blown out of proportion."
