Europe's largest 7-a-side inter-cultural soccer tournament celebrates cultural diversity, social inclusion and global development.
Aidan Gillen, Peter Coonan, Stuart Carolan, Laurence Kinlan, Barry Keoghan, Johnny Ward took on the SARI All-Stars Soccer team including Minister of State at the Department of Justice and Equality Aodhán Ó Ríordáin, Ireland U-21 Manager Noel King as well as former Nigerian internationals James Igwilo and Zuby Ufoh.
Others who attended included Irish women's rugby team members Marie Louise Reilly and Jenny Murphy as well as representatives from Ireland's Direct Provision Centres in a game refereed by SARI Director and former Ireland Manager Brian Kerr.
"This is the 18 year of Soccerfest - one of the most important events in the SARI calendar and this year we have more competitors than ever," said Kerr.
"SARI's greatest strength and experience is in organising and delivering inter-cultural sports events that allow people to learn about their similarities rather than call out the differences and playing sport is one of best ways to break down boundaries and promote inclusion and that's why I am inviting people to come down to see high quality competitive seven aside football."
