POP twins Jedward were back on the red carpet today to launch the National Lottery' 25th Anniversary €1m Prize GiveAway Draw.

Hosted by the twins, the event will take place at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin 8, where the National Lottery was launched 25 years ago.

The event will feature a range of cash prizes from €5,000 up to €250,000.

To mark these the 25 years, for the first time ever, the National Lottery is inviting players to send in their non-winning National Lottery tickets.

All current draw game tickets and Scratch Cards are eligible to enter.

To enter simply sign the back of any non-winning National Lottery ticket, write your name and contact details on one of the special 25th Anniversary Draw white envelopes, now available in all National Lottery agent outlets.

Place your signed ticket in the envelope and send it to the National Lottery.

National Lottery Play Online players can also enter by printing their non-winning ticket from lottery.ie, signing the back and sending it to the National Lottery, again in a special white envelope.

On four consecutive Fridays in August (10, 17, 24 and 31 August), a preliminary draw for all non-winning tickets will be held in National Lottery offices in Dublin.

On each of these dates, 25 lucky tickets will be drawn from all entries received.

This will give a total of 100 winners over the four week period. Each of those lucky ticket holders will win a prize valued between €5,000 and €250,000 on Sunday 16 September 2012.
