Lotto jackpot to hit €8.5m as weekend draw not won

WEDNESDAY'S Lotto is heading for its biggest jackpot prize in almost three months when €8.5m is up for grabs.

There was no winner of Saturday night's roll-over jackpot of just over €8m, the 11th time the draw has been made without a winner.

The last time so much money was in the pot was on March 31, when two winning tickets shared more than €11.5m.

Saturday's numbers were 2, 6, 9, 13, 30, 36 and the bonus was 33.

However, one lucky person in the south-east scooped the top prize of €350,000 on the Lotto Plus 1 draw. The numbers drawn were 9, 15, 16, 31, 40, 42 and bonus 10. Nobody collected the €250,000 prize on Lotto Plus 2 with the numbers 8, 12, 17, 34, 35, 42 and bonus 21.

Meanwhile, there were two winning tickets for the Euro Millions jackpot draw on Friday night of nearly €27m. The winning tickets were bought in France and Spain. The numbers drawn were: 10, 22, 27, 38 and 48 with lucky star numbers: 3 and 7.
