Lithuanian national shot in leg
A Lithuanian man was shot in one of his legs in a row at a house in Co Galway.
The 31-year-old man was treated at the Galway Clinic after gardai responded to a call about a disturbance at a home in Fernhill, Athenry.
There was extensive damage to the house, gardai said.
The injured man was transferred to University College Hospital Galway where his condition is described as not life-threatening.
Gardai are trying to trace other Lithuanians who were living in the house at the time of the attack.
