Lifeboats rescues three from sea in Killiney Bay reporters

Three people have been rescued off the coast of Dublin after the boat they were travelling in capsized in Killiney Bay.

Four people were in the boat when it got into difficulty off Shanganagh cliffs, between Killiney and Bray.

One of the crew managed to swim ashore and raise the alarm just after 2pm.

Dun Laoghaire lifeboats rushed to the scene and helped the other three to safety.

They were all transferred by helicopter to Tallaght Hospital for treatment.

Conditions at sea were said to be good at the time.
