Leaving Cert Irish goes ahead with replacement papers after distribution error
IRISH Leaving Cert exams went ahead today with replacement papers after a distribution error.
Secondary schools are this morning collecting replacement exam papers from designated An Post delivery offices after a security breach on Friday,
An error in distribution led to Plan B being implemented – two potential exam papers are prepared for each subject at both levels in case of problems each year.
The ‘new’ papers replace Irish higher level and ordinary level papers which were sent out to schools last week.
Students face maths this morning and Irish this afternoon. It is the first year all students will be examined in Project Maths.
