Kenny tells EU leaders: ‘Let’s take decisive action on eurozone crisis’
TAOISEACH Enda Kenny today urged EU leaders to take decisive action to resolve the economic crisis.
Speaking ahead of a key EU summit, aimed at ending the debt crisis, he said he strongly supported the idea of stronger fiscal governance in the euro zone and throughout Europe
And in a similar vein, European Commission president Jose Barroso today told government leaders to set aside differences and strike a deal.
"The world is watching Europe," Mr Barroso told jounalists arriving at a meeting of the European People's Party umbrella group.
"What I expect from all heads of state and government is that they don't come saying what they cannot do, but what they will do for Europe.
