MORE than 61,000 students are entered for this year's Junior Certificate, the highest number since 2000.
With six weeks to go to the start of the exams, candidates are focusing on the important task of revision and consolidation of their knowledge.
The weeks ahead provide an opportunity for students to influence their results for the better, but it is important to adopt a structured approach to study.
Tomorrow, the Irish Independent, in association with Yeats College, is publishing its Junior Cert exam brief – the first in a series of two – to help students prepare.
The two supplements will cover eight core subjects – maths, English, Irish, French, history, geography, science and business.
The second supplement be published on April 25.
