Junction on major road closed as emergency services deal with vehicle on fire
A vehicle is currently on fire on the M7 southbound.
Emergency services are at the scene and the road is currently closed between the Borris-In-Ossory and Roscrea junctions.
Meanwhile, motorists in Cork are being advised to take care as there is a pedestrian on the N40 South Ring Rd westbound between the Douglas Rd and Kinsale Rd.
Visibility is reportedly poor in the area and AA Roadwatch are urging motorists to drive with caution.

A two car crash on the Skehard Road in Cork has since been cleared.
In Dublin recovery services have dealt with a crash which occurred on the M50 at the Red Cow.
There has also been a collision on the Navan Road inbound before the Baggot Rd junction which is blocking the right lane and partially blocking the left lane.
Traffic lights are reportedly out of action in Athlone at The Crescent following a crash last night.
