Jordan sails into sun on new €30m yacht
Former Formula One mogul Eddie Jordan has snapped up a mega yacht that is so big it is almost classed as a ship.
And it comes with the eye-watering price tag of €30m.
The 155ft-long vessel has just been ordered by the 58-year-old and will dwarf his current 120ft-long luxury boat.
It will be the largest ever built by Sunseeker, a firm that has long been a favourite with F1 drivers including Nigel Mansell, Michael Schu- macher and Lewis Hamilton.
The luxury vessel will have no less than four decks to house 12 lucky friends as well as a staff of 10 crew.
Construction has begun at Sunseeker headquarters in Poole, Dorset, and it is expected that the finished product will be ready in December -- just in time for a winter getaway.
Preliminary plans show the sky deck could boast a giant hot tub and bar and the upper deck will feature a luxurious dining area.
An on-board nightclub will be built, where Mr Jordan and his guests can party the night away with the utmost privacy.
There will also be a "beach club" stern and "panoramic viewing platforms" down the side, giving guests a front row seat for the Grand Prix at Monaco.
And should the F1 magnate want to escape to the deep blue, the yacht features a garage with room for several small boats and jet skis.
The cost of running it isn't for the faint-hearted, as it will cost almost €40,000 to fill up the mega yacht with fuel for her 4,500-mile range.
Jordan, who is mostly known these days as a commentator at the BBC, is the best known member of the Royal Cork Yacht Club.
