John Waters to run under Anti-Corruption Ireland banner in general election

Controversial commentator John Waters is to run in the general election.
Mr Waters registered his candidacy this morning and will be running in the Dun Laoghaire constituency.
Mr Waters has caused controversy in the past over his views on abortion, marriage equality and other issues.
The Roscommon native is running under the Anti-Corruption Ireland banner.
He was photographed registering his candidacy in Dublin this morning.
He has not responded to requests for comment.
