RTE's John Murray was forced to use his phone during an outside broadcast this morning, as the show was hit with technical difficulties.
During the broadcast from Tallaght involving Operation Transformation, Mr Murray used his smart phone to speak to the listening audience.
"I feel like I’m going to lose a stone myself we’re having such technical difficulties," Mr Murray said on air.
Since the broadcast started, the problems have been solved and normal broadcast quality has resumed.
A spokeswoman for RTE said technical problems involved a ISDN line being down, but it was fixed shortly afterwards.
"For a short part of the show, he had to work through mobile phones as there were technical difficulties. Rather than listeners missing out, he worked through his phone," she said.
