
A suspected jihadist has been arrested at Dublin Airport as he attempted to enter the country.
The man, a French-Algerian national, was detained by gardai this morning when he arrived off an international flight.
It is believed the suspect was travelling on a false French passport
The man is being held at Ballymun Garda Station, where he is being questioned by detectives about the false documentation in his possession.
Independent.ie understands that the man expressed support for last week's Paris attacks and was being tracked by international agencies who tipped off gardai.
