Ray D'Arcy's wife Jenny Kelly will follow him to Montrose after announcing a switch to RTE.
She and long-standing Today FM producer Will Hanafin are the latest recruits to RTE radio.
Hanafin and Kelly will produce D'Arcy's upcoming Radio 1 afternoon show, which will begin broadcasting on February 2.
Kelly previously worked on D'Arcy's Today FM programme, but quit the show last June so she could spend more time with the couple's children.
Yesterday, she took to Twitter to announce her new post. "New Year, new desk," she wrote. "It's going to be a fun year."
RTE confirmed Hanafin will start at the station next week.
Listeners were shocked last month when Today FM announced D'Arcy's sudden departure.
Not only will RTE inherit a chunk of D'Arcy's listeners, but 2FM morning presenter Ryan Tubridy's main competition is eliminated. "Ray's arrival is massive," 2FM boss Dan Healy said. "Ray can bring in the 25 - to 44-year-olds to Radio 1. And it's a nice opportunity for us in 2FM at 9am in the morning."
