Jaywalking and drinking in public will be frowned upon, warn police

The Polish bobby overseeing Poznan's Euros operations, Andrezej Borowik (pictured), yesterday gave a few tips for fans hoping to stay out of trouble.

First, no jay-walking - it's frowned upon in Poland. And don't get a few cans and go drinking in public places or the police will be over wagging a finger.

And in further practical advice, there's also free Wi-Fi around the fanzone and Old Market Square, and tickets for the tram have to be bought at kiosks before you board.

We didn't see many inspectors on the trams, so it's no challenge for those who have honed their dodging skills on the Luas.
