AMERICAN civil rights activist Rev Jesse Jackson is to meet with Traveller representatives as part of his all-Ireland visit for International Day Against Racism today.

The Baptist minister will attend the launch of a new DVD on Traveller parents at the Pavee Point Travellers Centre in Dublin this morning.

His visit here follows a two-day trip to the North as a guest of the Pat Finucane Centre and Bloody Sunday Trust in Derry.

He also visited Belfast's oldest boxing club, St George's intercommunity club.
