The Curragh Thoroughbred Trail: Important Information

Important Information
Registration opens at 8.45am on Sunday 11th of September in the main entrance of the Curragh racecourse with complimentary refreshments available.

In the reception area there will be a board displaying your trail number and designated registration queue. Please head to registration desk 11 and 12. On registering you will be given a coloured wrist band and allocated a bus number, this will be the bus that will take you on your requested tour. Buses will depart at 9.30am sharp, (finishing at approximately 12.30pm.) 
Buses will drop you back to the bus shelter in the Public Car Park at Ballymany Hill, where you will then make your way to the Totes Sports Bar for a pre-racing brunch.

Car Parking
•    Curragh & Go Racing in Kildare Members may use the Members Car park as normal.
•    Public parking will be located at the Ballymany Hill car park. This is the main car park as you approach from the motorway. 
Gates will be open from 8.00am
First Race 2.00pm
As this is an outdoor event, please dress appropriately for the weather.

Getting To The Curragh

Public Transport
There are several transport options open to you. The Dublin Coach N7 service will drop you at the Curragh racecourse if you request this from the driver when you board the coach. M7 Express Service operates from Ennis/Limerick stopping off at Kildare Village where a shuttle bus will transport you to the Races.  For more information see
We will operate a shuttle bus to meet the 8am Dublin (Heuston Station) train which arrives at Kildare at 8.26am. Our GPS Co-ordinates are: 53.1653° N, 6.8453° W - From Dublin take Exit 9 off the M50 onto the N7 southbound. Take Exit 12 off the M7 and follow the signs for Curragh Racecourse.
