Independent.ie partnered with Graphic Studio Fundraising Committee Dublin to give away three pieces of art at the opening of their fundraising exhibition ‘A Natural Selection’ at the National Botanic Gardens on Thursday 14th of November.

The three winners of the works were Sheila Greene, Pauline Finn and Mary Dunne.

“The Graphic Studio was delighted with the exposure gained by the competitions run by Independent.ie. Many visitors to the exhibition were drawn by the images on the web and subsequently decided to visit and buy prints,” said Susan Early, Botanic Fundraising Committee, Graphic Studio Dublin.

The exhibition "A Natural Selection,” which is supported by the OPW and B&A features 100 original fine art prints by 100 artists, being sold at a modest price of €100 unframed, and €140 framed. The night was opened by Dermot O'Neill, author and gardener.

This ambitious project has brought together artists from Ireland – North and South, alongside artists from Europe, The Middle East, Far East and the Antipodes. The participating artists considered all aspects of the National Botanic Gardens in making their prints.

The exhibition is running from 15th November until the 5th December 2013.
