There was one winner of the EuroMillions Jackpot, and the winning ticket was sold in Ireland.
The lucky punter has scooped the massive prize of €23,845,060.
If you're wondering whether you're the lucky winner, the winning numbers were 2, 11, 13, 40, 50, and the lucky stars were 1 and 10.
It’s not known where the winning ticket was sold and officials from the National Lottery said it could be next week before they will release any details.
The jackpot is the country’s ninth since the European wide lottery was first launched in 2004.
Judging by the speed in which word leaked out when Ireland’s only previous Euromillions winner, Delores McNamara, scooped €115m in July, 2005, champagne corks could be popping way before then.
Ms McNamara, a former cleaner and mother-of-six from Limerick, is now among the top 100 richest people in Ireland after she won the largest ever jackpot in Euromillions history, prompting journalists to camp outside the National Lottery headquarters in Dublin for three days before she came forward to collect her winnings.
Last February, a syndicate of friends - who have remained anonymous - claimed their €66m EuroMillions jackpot. They had bought the ticket in the Easons store in the Fairgreen Shopping Centre, Carlow.
Other recent winners include €94 million ticket in 2013, bought in the Beaumont area of Dublin, and a Dublin syndicate who shared an €86.7 million jackpot in September 2014 after buying a €6 quick pick.
Also included amongst Ireland’s eight Euro Millions is a €29 million ticket brought in Dublin in 2009, a €15 million windfall for a family in Mayo in 2008, a second €15 million ticket brought in 2013 in Carrick-on-Suir in Tipperary, and a €12.8 million win for the South East after a winning ticket was purchased in Ardkeen, Waterford.
