IRISH born Samantha Lewthwaite has murdered 400 people during her campaign with jihadist terror group al Shabaab.

The so called ‘White Widow’, who was born in Northern Ireland, was also involved in last month’s attack on a Kenyan University in which 148 were killed.

A security chief in Kenya told The Mirror that Lewthwaite is ‘evil’ but a ‘very clever operator’.

Chiefs fear she has also spearheaded an initiate to recruit teenagers and women as suicide bombers – paying their families just a few hundred euro.

The suicide bombers are belived to be pumped with heroin before being sent to their deaths.

A source in Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency told the paper:

“The lady has moved up the ranks. She is one of the most important figures in the terror group.

“We think this lady is sitting at the right hand of the leader directing attacks.

“She does not carry out attacks herself as she is too important but is responsible for many, many deaths - hundreds.

“She uses children to kill for her after giving money to their families.”

She is now one of the main targets of MI6 operatives in the region.

It is believed she only narrowly escaped death in March when a terror camp she was at was bombed by a drone shortly after she left it.
