Ireland's latest soccer sensation Stephanie Roche has been forced to hit back at a vile Twitter troll who called her an 'Irish w***e'.
The user posted a message claiming he would kill 69 four-year-olds if Stephanie beat Robin van Persie of James Rodriguez to the Ferenc Puskas FIFA Goal of the Year Award.
The 25-year-old from Shankill, who is now plying her trade in France after signing a professional deal with ASPTT Albi, responded by tweeting: "Are u actually for real? Ur a disgraceful human being."
Stephanie's wonder goal for Peamount United against Wexford Youths in October of last year was chosen on a shortlist of 10 for the coveted award and she made the final three after a global online vote.
@April30th2012 are u actually for real? Ur a disgraceful human being.

She will travel to Zurich, Switzerland, for the Ballon d'Or awards ceremony on January 12.
Do the right thing. Vote here for the best goal and that's Stephanie Roche.
