One Direction with Funky Christmas Jumpers

Santa came early for two Irish entrepreneurs after members of One Direction wore their festive jumpers on US television.

On Monday night, the group stepped out wearing the humourous jumpers on NBC's 'Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon', which averages over 10m viewers. The reaction was immediate and yesterday Dubliners Donal McSharry and Fabio Molle, who together created the company Funky Christmas Jumpers, were fielding hundreds of calls to their pop-up shop at 60 South William Street.

Their Twitter account lit up with over 20,000 retweets.

The jumpers have been selling like hot cakes and after Christmas, the two pals will return to their regular jobs, in construction and e-commerce. They now supply 68 countries and pulled off the coup by approaching the band's management. "We are always coming up with things to promote ourselves and try to create as much as interest in our brand as possible because this business is so seasonal," said Donal.
