Irish Defence forces have white Christmas in Southern Lebanon

Some of the 181 Irish troops serving in Southern Lebanon are experiencing a white Christmas.

A total of 416 Irish Defence Force personnel serving in 15 missions across 20 different countries this Christmas, including Mali, Lebanon, Syria, Somalia, Bosnia, Kosovo and Afghanistan.

Our troops will even get the chance to sit down to Christmas dinner together. They even got the chance to make snowmen.
