More than 50 security cameras installed in private Irish homes are currently being streamed live on a Russian website.
And, the people behind the website have said that what they are doing is perfectly legal and that they are able to access the footage because the home owners are still using the default passwords from the manufacturers.
It is understood that at least 53 Irish cameras are currently being streamed on the Russian website, and they are understood to be located in counties Meath, Dublin, Louth, Limerick and Waterford.
Some of the CCTV images being broadcast are from private homes, sheds and car parks around the country. The most disturbing images are from the inside of a child's cot.
The website has said it is using the footage to highlight the security issues surrounding these private CCTV systems.
