Ireland's first Eurocampus set to open
IRELAND'S first Eurocampus will open in the autumn when Junior Certificate students from St Kilian's German school and from the Lycée Francais d'Irlande share the same classrooms, writes John Walshe.
The integration of students from the two schools will be phased in over the next three years with first years starting in September.
The Lycée Francais moved to the St Kilian's site in Clonskeagh, Co Dublin four years ago and the new link is seen as a natural development from that move.
A uniquely European focussed education will be taught and students will jointly attend many classes, but will separate for classes through French or German.
