Investigation underway after man found dead in city centre car park

Police are investigating the sudden death of a man in Belfast city centre.

The 45-year-old man was discovered in a car park in the Donegall Street area on Wednesday night.

Business owners in the area said police and an ambulance arrived at around 11.30pm.

The area remained cordoned off on Thursday morning.

Detective Inspector Michelle Griffin said: "A post mortem is expected to be carried out to establish the cause of death."
