'I couldn't believe it' - Two lucky Dublin shops sell winning Lotto tickets

Two Dublin shops are celebrating this morning after selling two winning Lotto tickets.

The National Lottery have confirmed that the Applegreen Roundtower Service Station in Corduff, Lusk, Co Dublin sold the ticket that scooped last night's Lotto jackpot of €2,387, 835.

The winning ticket was a Quick Pick sold in the shop yesterday.

Marius Vaitiekus, Assistant Store Manager at the lucky Applegreen Round Tower store said that he "couldn't believe it" when the National Lottery told him they sold the winning ticket.

"The mood is great here today. Everybody is happy. Hopefully someone local won because it is a local shop. It's great news."

The winning Lotto numbers were: 07, 19, 20, 32, 34, 43 and the Bonus was 45.

A second Dublin shop also  sold a winning €500,000 Lotto ticket.

The top prize in the Lotto Plus 1 draw was sold yesterday at Griffin’s Londis store on Upper O’Connell Street in Dublin City.

The winning Lotto Plus 1 numbers were: 07, 17, 23, 34, 45, 46 and the Bonus: 37.
