Husband 'crying every night' since wife disappeared
The husband of a woman missing for more than three months has said he has cried himself to sleep every night since her disappearance.
Tina Satchwell (45) went missing from her home in Youghal, Co Cork, on March 20.
In an interview on RTÉ's 'Six One', her husband Richard said the last three months have been a living terror.
"It's been horrible. I've spent every night crying myself to sleep," he said. "The dogs don't know what's happening. The parrot we bought on Valentine's ... Tina, I'm telling you now that this parrot has gotten lovely. You'd love her, so come home so you can see her for yourself."
Mr Satchwell made tea and toast for his wife on the morning of her disappearance before going to Dungarvan to do some shopping.
When he came home, he said, Tina had gone without notice or a trace.
"To me, she's the most amazing person that I've ever come across. She's loving, gorgeous to look at, she loves fashion, her pets. She just basically loves life in general," he said.
Gardaí say they have made exhaustive inquiries and are keeping an "open mind" on her disappearance.
Mr Satchwell met the Cork woman when she came to stay near his home in his native Leicester in England 28 years ago. The couple settled in Youghal where he proposed.

Superintendent Eamon O'Neill of Midleton garda station made a direct appeal to anyone with information about her whereabouts.
"We have concerns for Mrs Satchwell's safety and would ask anybody who has any idea where she might be to come forward," he said. "We would even make this appeal to Tina herself so we can make sure she's OK and alleviate any concerns regarding her safety."
Last night, Mr Satchwell (45) made an appeal on RTÉ's 'Crimecall' for any information on his wife's whereabouts.
He said he returned to an empty house apart from the two dogs, Ruby and Heidi, which he said was strange as she normally took them everywhere with her. He also said two suitcases were missing from the house.
Mr Satchwell called gardaí four days later after he and his wife's family had not heard from her.
Mrs Satchwell, originally from Fermoy, is described as 1.7m (5ft 6in) tall, of medium build with blonde shoulder-length hair and blue eyes.
