Hundreds of jobs on offer in 'speed dating for start-ups'
MORE than 2,000 jobseekers attended a jobs fair where 300 positions were on offer from some of the country's newest start-up companies.
The 'Dubstarts' event, described as 'speed dating for start-ups', offers students, graduates and jobseekers the chance to meet prospective employers in areas ranging from computer programming and design to business and marketing.
The free event receives support from a number of groups and sponsors including the Dublin City Enterprise Board, Jameson and Paddy Power.
Organisers said 150 people had been hired by start-ups in Ireland during the previous three events.
