How changes in pandemic-era Covid testing will affect high-risk patients

High-risk patients with underlying conditions, who have mild respiratory symptoms which may necessitate them getting Covid-19 antiviral treatment, will have to wait around 48 hours longer before getting a diagnosis. This follows changes to the HSE testing regime, which come into effect tomorrow.
