Heathers sign song deal for Disney show

THEY went down a storm in Hollywood when they performed at the Oscar Wilde pre-Academy Awards party last February.

And since taking to the stage in front of the likes of filmmakers Steven Spielberg and JJ Abrams, Irish singing duo Heathers have been signed up to write for Disney.

Twin sisters Ellie and Louise Macnamara have been enlisted to produce a track for a new TV programme, similar to that of the teenage phenomenon 'Hannah Montana'.

The 23-year-old duo are best known for their song 'Remember When', which is featured on the Discover Ireland advert. The Dubliners have just returned from a tour in Canada and said that the reaction to their music abroad was "overwhelming".

Heathers, who have found success with their record 'Forget Me Knots', are also working on a song for chart-topping French DJ David Guetta.
