A new Children's Writing Fellow will be appointed at Queen's University Belfast in memory of Seamus Heaney and his contribution to literature.

Developed by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Queen's University, this is one of a number of projects created to support the legacy of Heaney.

Expressions of interest are now invited for the two year, part-time post, which will attract a salary of €17,000 a year.

Details of the appointment will be announced in April.
