Karena hits dance floor for cancer
Sport and media stars, TV personalities and cancer survivors put their best foot forward last night to give breast cancer the boot.
They gathered on the pink carpet outside Dublin's Convention Centre to raise vital funds for breast cancer research in the third and final Strictly Against Breast Cancer gala.
Former rugby international star-turned-pundit, Shane Byrne, burned up the dance floor with model, Karena Graham, as they danced a sultry rumba in front of 1,000 guests attending the black-tie affair. Ms Graham took part in the charity event on behalf of her close friend Conor Buckley, whose mother, Christine Buckley, succumbed to the disease last year.
"The rumba is quite tough, but because of all our lifts and Shane's strength, it made it a whole lot easier. I feel very safe when he is swinging me around on his shoulders," she said.
