The Mental Health Commission is to follow up on a complaint that a teenage HSE service user’s file was missing after her mother asked a series of detailed questions about her care.

The mother was told in May by North Kerry child and Adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) that the file could not be found, just weeks before the HSE began to audit cases there in the wake of a medication scandal in neighbouring South Kerry CAMHS.
