Cancer: what are the warning signs?

Coughing, chest pain and breathlessness.

Changes in bowel habits.

Blood in your urine.

Bleeding from back passage.

Blood when you cough.

Blood in your vomit.

A mole with an irregular or asymmetrical shape.

A mole that is bigger than 7mm in diameter.

A mole that is itchy, crusting or bleeding.

Unexplained weight loss.

Repeated chest infections not cured by antibiotics.

Wheezing.

Feeling more tired than usual.

A hoarse voice.

Swelling of all or part of a breast.

Skin irritation or dimpling (sometimes looking like an orange peel).

Breast or nipple pain.

Visit a GP to investigate.
