The 49-year-old passed away from head injuries sustained following an incident on November 26, the Evening Echo reports.

"He was an absolute gentleman. I've yet to hear anyone say anything bad about him and I mean that. He was a man of great substance and style."
Mr McCarthy was a long-term staff member of Keanes Jewellers on Cork's Oliver Plunkett Street.
Keanes Jewellers said that Mr McCarthy passed away "passed away unexpectedly and all too soon".
"All at Keanes are absolutely shocked and saddened by this devastating news," it said in a statement. "To all those who have been in touch with us over the last few weeks, we really appreciate your support."
Keanes' Facebook page was flooded with tributes for the much-loved jeweller as news of his passing was announced.
"Kevin had a great sense of humour and a wonderful sense of fun. He was a very likeable guy who would always go that extra mile," one wrote.
Another added: "It was an honour to meet Kevin. A class act! Cool as a breeze, humble and kind."
