GSOC notified after man (20s) dies in collision outside school

A young man (20s) has died following a collision outside a school in Co Wexford.

Gardai are investigating the crash that occurred shortly after midnight on Whitemill Road.

This collision has also been referred to The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission (GSOC).

A male in his 20s was fatally injured when the car he was driving lost control and collided with a barrier.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body taken to Wexford Hospital.

Two male passengers were also taken to Wexford Hospital with injuries described as serious.

This stretch of road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
