Gloves off for cancer charity
Ireland's top designers pulled off the gloves and moved into mittens to raise fashionable funds for breast cancer.
International designers John Rocha and Paul Costelloe parked their tailoring and pattern-making to join an Irish charity campaign, personalising pink mittens which will be auctioned in aid of Action Breast Cancer.
Model-turned-jeweller Rebecca Davis (pictured) personalised her mittens with jewels, designer duo Kate and Ava put their stamp of individuality on the mitten by adding white fluffy trim and sequins, while Fran and Jane gave theirs the ultimate girlie treatment.
The designers worked with plain pink mittens, which Centra are selling for €5 at their 473 branches around the country this month, with adult and children's sizes available.
